I would like to know year and model of vehicle that original engine (now rebuilt) was installed to help finding parts like starter etc. Engine is a 2-bolt main, 1 piece seal, oil dip stick on right/pass side. I am twice removed from orginal rebuilder and not able to retrace that trail to get info. Numbers I have are: 1. block casting code = 14093638 which online data base listed as (1987-1995 350); 2. machined boss on engine front, pass side has stamped "V0924 FJA" - online data base clarified the V0924 part, however the FJA is confusing me. 3. machined boss on engine rear by bellhousing, driver side is stamped "TMZ 508039". Thanks for the help.

From the Engine Assembly Code you post, V0924FJA, you mention you've decoded the assembly plant and date, so here's the rest of the story; 1991, truck, 210 HP, the RPO (Regular Production Option) is, L-05 = (ENGINE GAS, 8 CYL, 5.7L, 1TBI, V8), TBI, 4X4.
So, with this information, you should be able to get any parts you need for your engine!
