Hi folks
24 years ago I bought a couple of rat blocks here in England
1 was a 69 ZL1 which I have in my 34 coupe.
The other one was an iron block which was reputed to be a KIEKHAFER engine.
I never did anything with the iron block until a few months ago when, having retired, I found time on my hands.
The block casting number is 3963630
The forged crank is O-250157
The rods do have KIEKHAFER forged in down the sides. I haven't measured them yet.
It's one of the taller truck blocks, 4 bolt mains, 4.25 bore and 4.25 stroke making 482 ci..domed pistons.
Can anyone out there help me with a positive I'd on these bits ?
