So I am total new to this, but trying to learn. I am starting to learn the lingo. I have a 1952 chevy truck and "trying" to work on it. I have an engine that supposedly a lot of work was done on it but I have no idea on how to find out what. Depending on what was done to the engine I am going to put it in the truck or sell it. What do I need to do to figure out what I have? I know it is a small block Chevy 350. Block casting is 14088548. the head casting number is 462624. It has an edelbrock intake manifold on it that says performer 2101 and at this point no carb. The trany has some numbers on it and would like to know what that is as well. The numbers are 8654303, 13, MD8 and STG079A. Any help would be much appreciated.
