I would like to identify the engine it's a Monsoon 340 Vortec 10243880 casting. I'm looking to purchasing a create long block. Just want to make sure I'm getting the right engine.

880 casting is a pretty standard vortec deal 340 hp rating probly means its a 4 bolt main, buy a vortec long block , get the highest HP one they sell ....
