Can anybody tell what these numbers on my block mean ?...L189.10 GM.5.7 L....402.43880..?
We have just purchased a Nissan 200 with a very hot engine..man this thing shifts..but we need to find out what engine / year etc it is ?..best wishes Steve and Taylor from England ..

So sorry for the delay, a lot of issues beyond my control. The only numbers i can identify from what you have listed is (GM 5.7) which is a 5.7 L 350 Cubic Inch Small Block Chevy. There should be some numbers stamped on the pad located on the right side front of the engine just behind the alternator. Where did you get this numbers?
