Trying like crazy to figure out what this engine is. PO says 78 350
Here are some numbers I have.
V0616TCK under that I believe it reads TCS527988
Back of the block reads 14010201
Head reads 1402260
I must have some numbers wrong because I am coming up with 2 or 3 different engines.

Maybe some numbers I am missing can help me narrow this thing down before I dump any money into it.

Edit: All I can seem to find on the rear passenger side of the block is an S all by itself. It reads 201 by the starter on the passenger side. I'll keep digging around.

I'm have the same problem I know so far that the v means it was made in flint mi the 06 means June and 16 means the date the tck is what I don't know mine is upj

Quick suffix search on Chevymania.com reveals:

TCK = '73 307 truck motor
