- 1966 Chevy Corvette
I have a 1966 Corvette with Chevy 1967 427 engine, code IE, it is a 385 HP engine. It has a Quadrajet carburetor on it now .Chevy data says , all 427 engines in that year had Holley carburetors on them. This engine came out a 1967 Impala SS, before I owned it. What would be the correct carburetor to install on this engine. It still has the factory intake manifold on it. I put a rebuilt Quadrajet on it this month, but I would to know what would the proper carburetor, I am not a numbers guy, I would like the Holley carburetor that it should have.
