hey i'm new to this forum and i need help with verifying the suffix code, and casting number info but the most trouble i'm having is with the partial vin # it doesnt come up in any search i've done PLEASE HELP!!! so with that said what i have found is my casting number is 3970010=69-80 302 or 350 suffix code reads V0512TYZ and its my understanding that reads V=flint 05=May 12=day of month TYZ=1975 350 conv. cab, L LS9,165hp,4BBL,c10-2500. now my partial vin reads C5F163775 from the research I've done C=a chevy truck vs a T for GMC or car 5=year 65 or 75 F=flint 163775=specific to original car or truck. please help me to confirm if this info is correct and please feel free to correct me.
