I purchased a Bare SBC engine for a DIY project. I was told it was a 327cu with large journal. The tag #3914678 lists that it is a 307, 327, and 350 from 1968. How do i know which it is. I found two other codes stamps on here one is 1127 and another is V0927yw. Any help would be appreciated so i can busy building this

The V0927YW code indicates the engine was assembled in Flint on September 27th, and the YW suffix usually refers to a 1968 350cu, but to be sure, check the block casting number on the back and compare it to the charts. The 1127 code is probably a November 27th casting date. Also measure the stroke: 3.25" for 327, 3.48" for 350, 3.875" for 307, or check the crankshaft journal size: large for 327 (post-1968) and 350, small for 307 or early 327.
