I have a possible 454 engine that was pulled from a friends truck because he is doing an LS swap. Engine runs but I need to determine around what it is. It came out of a truck with an automatic and its going into a truck with a granny gear 4 speed....
The production code (on top of the block at the back) have been partially grounded off for some reason....
But there is a stamped string of numbers at the front of the engine right above the timing chain cover
