Bought a 1968 Chevelle ss that at one point had it engine replaced and now has a 454 in it with a block casting #3963512 found on the rear driver's side of engine block and a code of T0117CGV on the front pass side of block. Can any one tell me if this is a 454 with 450hp or 390hp or a 345hp and how can you tell one way or the other. I know it is a 1970 Engine. Also what meaning does the suffix of CGV on the Identification code have?
