Recently purchased a 66 Nova SS 283.
Tried a couple Chevy forums and references to identify the block stamping number.
77 6496295. Obviously doesn't line up with any small-block Chevy stamping numbers. There is not much space at the firewall to get a look at the casting number but will try. Thanks, Jim
