Hi, just joined the forum, & for a reason. I just purchased a '72 Corvette & was told it was not the original motor. I am trying to find out just what year & H.P. it is. On the left rear of the block near firewall the # is 10066086. On the front right under the head the #1M1004 & 5vp under that is stamped. On the rear of the block it says Made in Mexico. Does anyone have an idea what the numbers mean, or know where it can be looked up???

Hi all. Name's obvious. Used to use this address for tracking down chevy casting numbers. Any chance that functionality will be available?
