Hey can anyone help me find out what this engine is, casting number as follows 3932388, stamped numbers/letters as follows 19B387251 TO603HD (T0603HD).
Any and all help is much needed, I have tried to look this particular engine up and all I can find out is it is either a 69 302 290hp z/28 engine or it's a 69 350 300hp engine.
Short of pulling the engine apart to find out if it's a 302 or 350 I can't find anything on it. Thanks

Even though the 350 is an internally balanced engine some material is added to the flywheel mounting flange and as a result the 350 does not have a round flange on the end of the crank.
On the other hand the 283's and 302's with there shorter 3 inch strokes didn't need to do that to be balanced , they have round crank flanges , so if you can get a look at the flange of your engine you should be able to determine what you have that way.

So, here's the deal: the Chevy 350 engine is indeed internally balanced, but it doesn't have any extra material added to the flywheel mounting flange. The flange on the end of the crankshaft is usually round for the 350.
Now, let's talk about the 283 and 302 engines. These bad boys are also internally balanced, just like the 350. And guess what? They also have round crankshaft flanges! The shorter 3-inch stroke of these engines doesn't mess with the shape of the flange.
But here's the kicker: you can't just rely on the shape of the flange to figure out which engine you have. The best way to know for sure is to check out the engine code, casting numbers, or other markings on the engine block. Those will give you the real lowdown on the engine model and all its specs.

Here's some pics i took of a 350 targetmaster (similar early block like what we are discussing here) in my shop, you can see that not only is the flywheel mount flanged with extra weight it is also notched opposite of that , i also included a pic of a late modal (post 83-84) 1-PRMS crank with weighted flywheel.
I cant say ive ever seen a early 2-PRMS 350 with a round crank flange, Late mod SBC's yes.
